So if we apply this to the epic flying speed of +280% we find that with the riding crop you will be crusing at a nice 418% speed (100%running+280%mount=380%total+%38crop=418%)with the riding crop, and if your a pally well then lucky you because you will be flying at 456% speed! (100%running+280%mount=380total+%76crusader=456%) because of course 10% of a number with a greater value would be greater than 10% of a number with a lesser value. (100%running+100%mount=200%total+20%crop=220%) same with crusader aura wich adds 20% you will be riding at 240% (100%running+100%mount=200%total+40%crop=240%) NOT the 220% (100%running+100%mount=200%total+20%crusader=220%) people seem to think.įor this reason speed increasing items/auras such as the riding crop or the crusader aura are more effective the faster the mount is naturally. with the riding crop "incresses mount speed by 10%" you think ok "so if im on my ground epic ill go 210% speed.
there seem to be alot of people under the impression that the riding crop and cursader aura add the exact percent they say for example.
